Experimental Runes====================This temporary mode changes the rune system to a more experimental one. I will be changing how -er works from version to version to try out different ideas. I don’t plan on any one version of the new runes to replace the current system directly, so do not panic Well Instead, it will be used as something to create discussion, spark ideas, find flaws and playtest different concepts over time.How -er works for this version: Runes spawn simultaneously on both sides at 3 minute intervals (instead of 2). Again I have no plans to make this permanant.Notes: I wanted to release this sooner rather than later because of some important code fixes. I am planning on finishing the traditional .x9 quest for v6.59b (along with some more balance tweaks) and then followed by TC in 6.60 if everythings work out right.Enjoy– IceFrog
Update: I’m getting lots of emails asking me what .x9 and TC are. Every 9 version there is a hidden side quest in the map. TC is the Tauren Chieftain hero model.

This is a port of RGB’s AI+ v1.52 (originally written for DotA Allstars 6.48b).
It behaves the same as the original AI, and has only been updated to account for balance changes, new item recipes, and most new features. As such, some new content does not work fully with the AI yet.
THERE IS NO AI FOR LIFESTEALER, INVOKER, OR CLOCKWERK GOBLIN. THEY WILL GET ITEMS BUT WILL NEITHER USE NOR LEARN THEIR SKILLS.
Known bugs with AI:-AI don’t properly react to -nb, -nm and -nt modes-Some exploits that should have been fixed are still in the game…just don’t use them. If you really want to cheat against AI, just use -test
Some commands have yet to be implemented properly:-ah-afk-kickafk-rd (the new one in 6.53, -rd is in the game but done the same way pre-6.53)-cm
Additionally, I have added two Fun Taverns in the lower right corner. Currently includes fifteen legacy heroes (possibly more in the future): Old Invoker (6.12b), Old Lifestealer (6.48b), Old Silencer (6.12b), Gambler (6.06), Old Morphling (5.84b), Old Stealth Assassin (5.84b), Old Pudge (5.51), Old Chen (5.64), Old Medusa (5.84b), Void Demon (3.0d), Rider (5.72), God of Wind (6.01), Flame Lord (5.51), Avatar of Vengeance (6.32b), and Astral Trekker (3.0d).
To access the fun taverns, type -fun within the first 15 seconds of the game. Note that Fun Tavern heroes do not have AI scripts and will not buy items or use/learn skills.

About AI by BuffMePlz:
This is a port of RGB’s AI+ v1.52 (originally written for DotA Allstars 6.48b).
It behaves the same as the original AI, and has only been updated to account for balance changes, new item recipes, and most new features. As such, some new content does not work fully with the AI yet.
THERE IS NO AI FOR LIFESTEALER, INVOKER, OR CLOCKWERK GOBLIN. THEY WILL GET ITEMS BUT WILL NEITHER USE NOR LEARN THEIR SKILLS.
Known bugs with AI:-AI don’t properly react to -nb, -nm and -nt modes-Some exploits that should have been fixed are still in the game…just don’t use them. If you really want to cheat against AI, just use -test
Some commands have yet to be implemented properly:-ah-afk-kickafk-rd (the new one in 6.53, -rd is in the game but done the same way pre-6.53)-cm
Additionally, I have added two Fun Taverns in the lower right corner. Currently includes fifteen legacy heroes (possibly more in the future): Old Invoker (6.12b), Old Lifestealer (6.48b), Old Silencer (6.12b), Gambler (6.06), Old Morphling (5.84b), Old Stealth Assassin (5.84b), Old Pudge (5.51), Old Chen (5.64), Old Medusa (5.84b), Void Demon (3.0d), Rider (5.72), God of Wind (6.01), Flame Lord (5.51), Avatar of Vengeance (6.32b), and Astral Trekker (3.0d).
To access the fun taverns, type -fun within the first 15 seconds of the game. Note that Fun Tavern heroes do not have AI scripts and will not buy items or use/learn skills.

About AI by BuffMePlz:
This is a port of RGB’s AI+ v1.52 (originally written for DotA Allstars 6.48b).
It behaves the same as the original AI, and has only been updated to account for balance changes, new item recipes, and most new features. As such, some new content does not work fully with the AI yet.
THERE IS NO AI FOR LIFESTEALER, INVOKER, OR CLOCKWERK GOBLIN. THEY WILL GET ITEMS BUT WILL NEITHER USE NOR LEARN THEIR SKILLS.
Known bugs with AI:-Pathing on the top Sentinel lane is still the same as in 6.48b-AI don’t properly react to -nb, -nm and -nt modes-Some exploits that should have been fixed are still in the game…just don’t use them. If you really want to cheat against AI, just use -test-Lanaya may crash your game if you use her, depending on how lucky you are
Some commands have yet to be implemented properly:-ah-afk-kickafk-rd (the new one in 6.53, -rd is in the game but done the same way pre-6.53)
Additionally, I have added two Fun Taverns in the lower right corner. Currently includes nine legacy heroes (possibly more in the future): Old Invoker (6.12b), Old Lifestealer (6.48b), Old Silencer (6.12b), Gambler (6.06), Old Morphling (5.84b), Old Stealth Assassin (5.84b), Void Demon (3.0d), Rider (5.72), and God of Wind (6.01).
To access the fun taverns, type -fun within the first 15 seconds of the game.

This version marks the first official simultaneous multi-lingual release. The first round of translated languages includes Russian, Korean and Chinese. More will be added over time. The main feature of these translations, aside from being translated of course, is that the maps are compatible with each other. That means, I can have only the English version on my computer and then join a game where the host is using the Russian map without needing to download it. The Russian players will see the language of the map they downloaded, and I will see my own language. The core game code is what is used to authenticate the map as official and the strings are externalized from this. The same is true for replays. You can watch any 6.53 replay, regardless of the original language, using only your one map. This will make sharing replays worldwide a seamless process.

It now supports things like properly tracking item ownerships, fusing recipes with a full inventory as well as fixing a lot of older miscellaneous bugs and usability issues, and setting groundwork for other things in the future* Fixed all CustomKey problems. All hotkeys in the game can now be properly remapped to any other hotkey* Map strings are now properly allocated to allow players with different language versions to play with each other without having to download multiple maps themselves. This means, for example, that you can play or watch games with your English version of the map with someone using a Chinese, Korean or Russian translated version of the map without any problems. The maps for the other languages will be posted on getdota.com alongside the English version for each release

About AI:
After spending about 14 hours programming last night, I think the first revision for this port is finally done. As far as I know, all of the new hero/item content is in and works fine for both humans and AI (yes, AI Visage and Drow and PA get their new abilities and they work). New item recipes work as expected, and AI has been modified to get the proper items in order to build them (Eul’s, Guinsoo’s, Battle Fury).
Fun tavern is still in, though it looks different. Deal with it. Currently contains Old Invoker, Old Lifestealer, Old Silencer, and Gambler. Maybe adding more later, they actually don’t increase map size as much as everybody thinks they do (except for Gambler, since he has his own special buttons that I needed to add).
Assists work, singledraft works, -clear and -courier work, new creep camps work, bottles work, Invoker works…things work. Most of them, anyway.
Things that DON’T work:-ah (why would you be hacking on an AI map anyway?)-apm-afk-kickafk-swapall (will do this one later, I don’t feel like it right now)
Some bugs that were addressed with Last Word going off on various spells have not been addressed yet as of this revision. I’ll do it later.
New Impale code works fine, but I haven’t addressed the issues with new Impale + Omnislash/Voodoo Restoration. Also to be done later.
Eclipse still ministuns. I’ll address that later. It does properly level up with Lucent Beam now though.
I haven’t disabled -unstuck, since I find it to be useful.
I’ve changed the hero selection code a bit so (in theory) the AI should never pick Lanaya, Nai’x, or Kael. You can, of course, force the AI to pick these heroes but they won’t do anything and will probably be easy to kill. Except for Lanaya, who will probably kill your game. Note that this is only for modes in which the computer picks, so using -ar or -tr may still cause them to pick these heroes.
Post bug reports here. I probably won’t be doing anything on this map for at least another two weeks after my programming splurge, so hopefully this should be good enough for a while. Unless somebody finds something COMPLETELY gamebreaking…in which case then I might do something about it sooner.
Will fix aforementioned bugs in Revision 2, along with whatever you guys report. Might add Old Morphling to Fun Tavern, or whoever else people might want to see. But not all the old heroes, that’s ridiculous and will take more time than I have ever. =P
